Bill Hunter August 1st, 1943 - September 9th, 2007

William Ray Hunter, formerly of Rupert, died suddenly Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at the age of 64. Also known as Bill or Wild Bill to those who knew and loved him, he was born Aug. 1, 1943, in Montpelier, Idaho, to William O. and Hazel Dean Hunter. He grew up in southern Idaho and lived in Renton and Kent, Wash., for the past 40 years. He was employed by Boeing for 39 years. He was a spares pricing estimator. Along with his time at Boeing, he also served 27 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and retired as a sergeant first class. Bill spent his free time helping others in any way he could. He enjoyed fixing up cars, traveling and spending time with his loved ones. Bill also enjoyed the HAM radio. His call name was WA7PUA. He is survived by his loving wife, Shari of Kent, Wash.; his sister, Ann Solosabal of Rupert, Idaho; his sons, Steve, Sean, Scott and Lance, all of Kent, Wash.; his daughter, Mya, and son-in-law, Steve Rehal of New York, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and one grandson preceded him in death.
